World Cup of Darts – Bet on Team Belgium at Ladbrokes
The World Cup of Darts starts in Frankfurt on Thursday. The tournament, which is in its 12th edition and played in pairs, is the most prestigious country tournament in darts. Each country may send two players to compete for the trophy in Frankfurt, for Belgium these are the two highest placed in the world ranking: Dimitri Van den Bergh (PDC-9) and Kim Huybrechts (PDC-34).
World Cup of Darts – Belgian duo beat Japan in 1st round
Japan was on paper a bite-sized chunk for the Belgians. And that soon became apparent. Kim Huybrechts immediately shook a 180 out of his sleeve, a leg later Dimitri Van den Bergh followed his example. Huybrechts and Van den Bergh ran out to 4-1, Japan then took a second leg. Van den Bergh ended the game with a double 20. Our 2 Belgians recorded an average of 91.71, while the Japanese did not go further than 75.03. In the next round during the World Cup of Darts, Huybrechts and Van den Bergh will face a tougher chunk with Poland tomorrow.
